The Glorious Appearing Of Jesus

The Glorious Appearing Of Jesus

The Glorious Appearing Of Jesus

“Who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.”{Hebrews 1 v 3}.

What a powerful scripture, it tells us all about Jesus, about the brightness of His glory and how He is the exact image of God. How he is holding everything together with the word of His power, and when He had washed us from our sins in His own blood, He went back to God in heaven, and sat down at God’s right hand.

And now Jesus is seated in heaven and He is interceding for us. It says in Hebrews 7 v 25, “Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

Jesus has saved us, and washed us clean, cleansing us in His precious blood, and now He is seated at God’s right hand praying for us. His loving care didn’t finish at Calvary, no, He is right now in heaven praying for you and for me.

And one day soon, Jesus will return to this earth for us, He will come in the clouds with His mighty angels, and every eye will see Him when He comes to gather us together and take us back with Him to live in glory. We don’t know when this will be, but we must be ready as Jesus could come at any time. Ready, watching and waiting for Jesus return, keeping ourselves clean, and unspotted by this world and ready for heaven.

“ Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” {Titus 2 v 13&14}.

  1. Awesome! The only thing keeping us from that day is the one verse that tells us when he’ll return. Only when the gospel is preached in all the world, then will the end come. I’m glad you’re doing your part!
